2020 Highlights: Connecting to the C-suite

Like most firms in 2020, our premium event brand Chief Wine Officer pivoted, based on a virtual product we developed for a teleconferencing client in 2015. CWO: DIGITAL was launched in March and it became very popular, very quickly.
Chief Nation starts senior executive conversations for clients via our CEO.digital innovator portal and links them to human engagement in environments that are conducive to learning, sharing and networking. 2020 saw the major relaunch of our virtual format and 36% growth in the number of events, with attendance rate of 100%+, of which one third ranked as the C-suite.
Attendance across all leadership roles
The trend this year has revealed a shift towards growth in roles beyond senior IT leaders, in particular marketing, operations, finance and HR.

Expanding our reach
We have a strong global presence with a network & database of 330,000+ senior decision makers. Established in 2008, our US footprint grew extensively in 2020, accounting for a third of our total events. Our EU coverage solidified particularly in the Nordics, Benelux, France and Ireland.
A novel experience for me, and very enjoyable. Format worked really well, and interesting mix of presenters and guests (and wine to balance it all). Thank you to the CWO team!
