As the U.K. General Manager Andy is focused on accelerating the growth of Rackspace Technology™. He aims to establish Rackspace Technology as the partner of choice that adds business value to customers using the world’s best cloud technologies.
As an outstanding visionary and leader, Andy has extensive experience in solving complex business challenges to ensure commercial success. During the course of his career, Andy has developed deep expertise in enterprise software and IT service management.

Andy joined Rackspace Technology in 2020, bringing over 20 years’ of industry experience. He was previously at IBM where his most recent role was Vice President and Executive Partner for Cloud Application Innovation. During his time at IBM, he was also Vice President of IT Systems Integration and Consulting as well as Vice President of Strategic Outsourcing.

His commitment to technology began with his BSc in Computing Science and Computer Software Engineering, from Lancaster University. Andy is a member of the Deans Council and an honorary teaching fellow at Lancaster University.
Andy lives in London with his family and in his spare time enjoys sky diving.


Director of Strategic Deals, EMEA, Rackspace Technology

As Rackspace Technology™ Director of Strategic Deals for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions, Neil is primarily responsible for the growth of strategic enterprise acquisitions and public sector businesses. He also manages the growth and development of strategic channels and alliance markets. When it comes to customers, Neil focuses on delivering high value financial and operations benefits using transformational multicloud solutions. Additionally, he is also dedicated to building unique value complimentary services that drive business outcomes.

Neil’s expertise spans digital banking and eco-systems, AI, ITaaS, as well as complex business case development and financial engineering strategies. He has more than 25 years of experience In IT services leadership roles. Before joining Rackspace Technology in 2020, he had spent nine years at IBM with his most recent senior role being China Executive Client Services & Senior Deal Leader. Neil has also previously worked at CSC (DXC), Logica (CGI) and Sopra-Steria. One of the many highlights from his career includes being co-founder of Lotus Business Partner, Impact Software Plc. He also served nine years in the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Telecoms Engineer. During his time in the RAF Neil both designed and built the first Ground Radio Engineering IT system on Unix SVR4.

Neil has lived and worked in many countries, including Canada, India, Hong Kong and China. While in China, he learned to speak Mandarin to a conversational level. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, cycling and has toured Europe, Nepal and Tibet on his motorbike.

Sam is a wine consultant to one of the UK’s largest retailers, has appeared regularly on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen, a wine judge, and a partner of The Wine Gang (consumer wine festivals and events).
