Cyber Security Leaders

Headline Dinner Summer 2018

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: LISA FORTE
Thursday 5th July, from 18:15pm
St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel
 WHAT’S ON THE AGENDA

Held twice a year, the CWO Cyber Security Leaders VIP Dinner attracts senior security executives from the world’s leading organisations, to connect, share experiences  and insight about key security issues, and the role the CISO plays in protecting their respective organisations from threats.

With fantastic reviews from across the world since launching in 2005, these invite-only events are immensely popular, attracting C-level & senior management around the promise of relationship-building over fine wine, gourmet cuisine, entertainment, education and a hint of competition.

 KEYNOTE

Real cases of social engineering: hackers, competitors and insiders.

Lisa Forte, cyber crime expert, will share how social engineering can range from a simple phishing email to a prolonged campaign to turn one of your employees into a malicious insider.  Lisa will share some interesting cases she has worked on involving large organisations that have been attacked through social engineering by both malicious actors and competitors.  She will detail how the process works, what to look out for when it comes to insider threats and how cyber organised crime groups are trading in fake social media profiles.

LISA FORTE

Lisa began her career working in anti-piracy intelligence off the coast of Somalia before moving into Counter-terrorism intelligence for a UK Government agency.  She led research into the process of online radicalisation by terrorist groups.

Lisa then moved into one of the UK Police Cyber-Crime Units where she got to know the attackers’ mind sets and methodologies well.  The unit dealt with serious cyber-crime cases working closely with international law enforcement agencies such as the FBI. Victim companies ranged from small to multi-national organisations and almost all the cases involved social engineering.

 SUMMER RECEPTION

This cyber security experience will start with a roof-top view including a champagne reception, networking and the summer sun. We will be serving you two chilled and delicious sparkling wines which may or may not be champagne – we will be testing your knowledge on the day.

 YOUR HOSTS:

Your hosts for the evening include Chief Wine Officer, a surprise keynote speaker and a number of technology partners who specialise in providing security solutions for the UK’s leading organisations.
