We see a lot of keynotes or presentations throughout the year at our various CWO roundtable events and Nation decision-maker communities, some good and some bad. The good ones certainly linger in the mind and can educate and inspire. The best ones can fuel discussion and networking for the entire evening – ideal for a successful business event. In light of this I have been looking into what makes people successful public speakers and in the process stumbled upon this great video on How to Sound Smart.
This hilarious talk capping off a day of new ideas at TEDxNewYork, by professional funny person Will Stephen, shows foolproof presentation skills to make you sound brilliant — even if you are literally saying nothing. (Full disclosure: This talk is brought to you by two TED staffers, who have watched a LOT of TED Talks.)
